In this paper, the remote fire monitoring system is proposed for the enhancement of fire safety in multi-family housing with insufficient fire fighting equipments. The system consists of smart fire alarm LED lighting, fire detection system for pilotis and remote monitoring system, and the system is based on wireless communications and will disseminate fire information to other homes. In particular, the characteristics of the CO2 of vehicle is analyzed through experiment in the building of the pilotis structure, and the CO2 sensor is applied. The developed system is implemented and verified in 87 households, and it’s laid the foundation for fire safety.
