Purpose: The purpose of this study is to classify and interpret images that are implied in LPGA culture recognized by Korean female professional golfers, and to classify and interpret common types. Method: There were three in-depth face-to-face interviews for Q-question extraction, and based on this, seven factors and a total of 36 statements were extracted for each image characteristic. The respondents did Q-Sorting for 10 players with experience in LPGA Tour events and conducted a factor analysis with the QUANL program. Results: According to the study, the classification by type 1 and type 2 were classified, the synesthetic image expression was shown in 5 and 7, respectively, and the non-sensitivity image expression was shown in 6 and 8. In addition, six positive and negative image expressions were classified, respectively, according to an analysis of the players who had won the championship. According to the result analysis, there were two main types of images to Korean players in the LPGA game culture. First, it was a symbolic image of the way the competition is made centered on the players. Second, it was an image that gives players a competitive edge and a chance to succeed. Third, the base of the classification of these two types shows that the image characteristics were changing depending on the tour experience and performance of the players. Conclusion: In conclusion, the first image of the LPGA culture of Korean players is 'the best stage to be treated' and the second is 'the stage of opportunity and growth'. The base for the classification of these two types shows that the image characteristics vary depending on the tour experience and performance of the players, and that the LPGA has personality traits that provide Korean players with consideration and opportunities for success.
