The purpose of this study is to investigate appearance management affect surgical procedure intention of semi-permanent makeup and to examine the moderating effect of perception of time pressure between appearance management and the surgical procedure intention of semi-permanent makeup. Data for this study was collected via survey method from women live in China between July 7, 2020 and August 9, 2020. In this study, exploratory factor analysis and hierarchical multiple regression were employed to data analysis. The findings of this study are as follows. First of all, appearance management positively affect surgical procedure intention of semi-permanent makeup. In addition, perception of time pressure was not found to moderate the relationship between appearance management and surgical procedure intention of semi-permanent makeup. Furthermore, surgical procedure intention of semi-permanent makeup gets higher in a low-level perception of time pressure. And in a high-level appearance management, high-level perception of time pressure increases the intention to do semi-permanent makeup.
