이 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사의 NCS기반 의사소통능력 향상 프로그램을 개발하고 직전교육에서 적용하여 예비유아교사의 직무역량을 강화하는 것이다. 고용노동부는 능력 있는 인재를 개발해 핵심인프라를 구축하고 국가경쟁력을 향상시키고자 국가직무능력표준(National Competency Standards 이하 NCS)을 제시하였다. 본 연구자는 이 가운데 의사소통능력을 예비유아교사가 갖추어야할 직무역량으로 보았다. 연구 참여자는 B광역시 D대학교 유아교육과 재학생 115명이다. 검사 도구는 의사소통능력 체크리스트를 이용하여 사전·사후 검사하고 SPSS 21 프로그램을 이용하여 다변인 공변량분석(MANCOVA)하였다. 결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 프로그램 개발 과정은 문헌고찰 및 요구도 조사, 시안개발, 전문가 협의를 거쳐 최종 프로그램을 개발하였다. 둘째, 게이미피케이션을 적용한 본 프로그램이 예비유아교사의 NCS기반 의사소통능력 향상에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 예비유아교사의 직무역량을 강화하는 데 NCS기반 의사소통능력 프로그램이 효과적인 방안이 될 수 있다는 것을 시사하고 있다.
Objective: The purpose of this study is to develop the NCS-based communication skills improvement program for pre-school teachers and apply them in the previous education to reinforce the job capacity of pre-school teachers. Methods: The Ministry of Employment and Labor proposed the National Competency Standards (NCS) to develop competent human resources to build a core infrastructure and improve national competitiveness. This researcher viewed communication ability as the job competency that a pre-school teacher should have. Participants in the study were 115 students from the department of erly childhood education, University of B. The test tool was pre and post-test using the communication ability checklist and multivariate covariate analysis (MANCOVA) using SPSS 21 program. Results: First, the program development process developed the final program through literature review, needs survey, draft development, and expert consultation. Second, the gamification program was found to be effective in improving NCS-based communication skills for preschoolers. Conclusion/Implications: These findings suggest that NCS-based communicative competence programs can be an effective way to enhance the job skills of pre-school teachers.
