교리 설교는 험준한 산 정상을 향해 올라가는 등정으로 비유할 수 있다. 포스트모던의 거대한 폭풍으로 인해 설교자들은 설교에서 필수적인 요소인 성경적 교리를 최소화하거나 무시하는 경향이 있어왔다. 그러나 최근 다행히도 몇 몇 학자들이 교리설교에 대한 새로운 접근을 시도하였다. 이와함께 한국교회 설교자들 가운데서도 교리설교의 필요성이 새로운 주목을 받고 있지만 강해적 교리 설교라는 설교철학에 근거한 구체적인 형태나 방법론 차원의 논의보다는 주로 요리문답 설교의 재조명에 관한 논의가 주를 이루고 있다. 그러므로 본 소고의 주요 목적은 강해적 교리 설교라는 산 정상을 다양한 루트를 통해 등정하기 위한 다양한 형태와 방법론을 연구하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 성취하기 위해 본 연구는 먼저 개혁주의 교리강해 설교라는 산의 정상을 등정하기 위해 필요한 베이스 켐프와 등정전략을 간략히 숙고해 볼 것이다. 그런다음, 본문에 기초한 강해적 교리설교의 정상으로 올라갈 수 있는 다양한 루트에 대한 논의를 통해 교리 설교의 형태와 모델들을 분석할 것이다. 즉 토피컬 교리 설교, 테마틱 교리 설교, 본문형(Textual) 교리 설교, 단락형교리 강해설교, 변증형 교리 설교 등으로 나누어 살펴볼 것이다.
Doctrinal Preaching is likened to climbing to the top of a rugged mountain. Due to a huge storm of the postmodern age, preachers have a tendency to minimize or ignore a biblical doctrine that is an essential element in preaching. Recently, a few homileticians and homiletical works attempt to new approaches about doctrinal preaching. In these days, Korean pastors begin to notice the necessity of doctrinal preaching focused on a reconsideration of catechism preaching rather than expository doctrinal preaching with its specific forms and methodology. With this regard, the main purpose of this research is to study on a variety of forms rooted in text-driven expository doctrinal preaching. For this purpose, this study, first, considers the necessity of a homiletical basecamp and a strategy to conquer a mountain top of doctrinal expository preaching. Secondly, this researcher examines various routes to climb up a mountain of expository doctrinal preaching by means of considering and evaluating exemplary forms such as topical doctrinal preaching, thematic doctrinal preaching, textual doctrinal preaching, passage doctrinal preaching, and apologetic doctrinal preaching.
