The purpose of this study was to present a plan to systematically help international students to successfully study abroad by empirically analyzing the relationship between cultural adaptation stress, academic motivation, Korean excellence, and academic achievement of international students in Korea. To this end, a questionnaire survey was conducted for international students in three regions from November 15 to December 5, 2019, and a multiple regression analysis was conducted using 279 of the total 300 copies as analysis data for this study. As a result of this study, first, cultural adaptation stress had positive(+) and negative(-) effects on academic motivation and Korean excellence. Second, cultural adaptation stress partially negative(-) on academic achievement. Third, Korean excellence had a positive(+) effect on academic achievement.
