본 연구는 2016년 7월부터 12월까지의 기간 중 중국결혼이주여성 두 명을 연구 참여자로 한 질적 연구이다. 연구는 이들 중국결혼이주여성이 결혼을 통해 한국으로 이주하는 과정과 한국에서의 문화적응을 생애사적으로 고찰하였다. 자료의 수집은 주로 심층 인터뷰를 통해 이루어졌으며, 수집된 자료의 분석을 통해 다음 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 결혼 선택에 있어 부부쌍방의 적극성과 서로를 향한 애정 및 신뢰가 결혼 생활 만족도에 매우 중요한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 둘째, 중국결혼이주여성은 교육정보에 대한 접근성 부족과 서툰 한국어로 인한 자녀 교육 어려움을 극복하기 위해 자녀교육 지원 프로그램의 개발과 성공 사례를 갈급해 하고 있다. 셋째, 중국결혼이주여성들의 보다 적극적인 한국 내 사회 참여를 위한 직업교육과 더불어 한국인의 타문화 이해를 돕기 위한 다문화교육이 시급하다. 마지막으로 한국의 사회 통합을 위해 결혼이주여성들이 겪는 어려움을 고려한 정책 마련이 시급하다.
The diversity of population composition and culture within Korean society is rapidly increasing. This qualitative research explores the life history of two Chinese women who immigrated into Korea through marriage. Data collection had performed mainly through in-depth interviews of two Chinese marriage immigrant women from July to November in 2016. Analyzing their life stories is very meaningful in that it is very effective way to reveal the following facts. First, their spontaneity in marriage choice, and love and trust toward each other had a very important influence on marital satisfaction. Second, each of the two women is having trouble in educating their children due to their lack of access to educational information and Korean language proficiency. Third, appropriate job education aligning with their competence is needed so that the immigrant women participate more actively in various fields. Lastly, policy-making for solving the probable difficulties of marriage immigrant women in the process of fitting into Korean society should be taken into consideration.
