The purpose of this study is to investigate health behaviors and consciousness of adult women. The respondents included 298 female volunteers, aged 20 to 50, who were enrolled at Kangnam D Gumin sports center and Kangbuk Y Olympic Memorial Center. The instrument was composed of three sections: self-perception of body image, eating behaviors, and weight control attitude. Data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, frequency, and chi-square test. This study showed that the fortieth and fiftieth groups have a much more preventive attitude of lifestyle related diseases, the recognition of knowledge and health behaviors than the generations of the twentieth and the thirtieths. In conclusion, in order to prevent lifestyle diseases, regular participation in physical activity for young generation can enhance their physical, psychological, and social well-being.
