본 연구는 텍스트마이닝 및 네트워크 분석을 통하여 국내 체육학 분야의 안전 관련 연구 동향을 파악하고, 연구의 방향성에 대한 시사점을 제시하는데 주된 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 RISS, KISS, KCI 연구검색 포털을 이용하여 2000년 이후 국내체육학계의 ‘안전’ 관련 연구 3,984건 중 데이터 정제를 통해 총 283건의 키워드를 선정하였고, R version 4.0.5 프로그램의tm package, sna package를 활용하여 워드 클라우드 분석과 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 키워드를 대상으로 워드 클라우드 분석 결과, 안전, 스포츠, 교육, 사고, 매니지먼트, 여가, 시설 등의 단어가 높은 순으로도출되었다. 둘째, 안전 관련 키워드의 중앙성 분석 결과, 안전, 스포츠, 교육, 매니지먼트, 시설, 사고, 여가, 신체, 보안, 활동이 높은 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 키워드 클러스터 분석을 통한 군집형성 분석결과, ‘안전, 문화’가 연결되어 군집을 형성하고, ‘사고, 예방’이 군집을 형성하며, ‘수영, 교육, 신체, 학교, 물, 레저, 분석’이 군집을 형성하였다. 이를 통해 국내 체육학 분야의 안전 관련 연구 동향은 ‘스포츠안전’, ‘안전교육’, ‘안전사고’, ‘안전관리’와 관련된 연구들이 주를 이루고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이에 향후 연구에서는 4차 산업혁명, 기후환경, 초고령 사회 등 메가트렌드에 부합하는 다양한 주제로연구범위를 확대하고, 나아가 정부의 스포츠안전 관련 정책 및 제도를 개선하기 위한 연구가 수행된다면 진일보된 스포츠안전 문화 조성 및 정책적 방안을 마련하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
The main purpose of this study is to understand the trends in safety-related research in the field of sports science in South Korea using text mining and network analysis, and to provide insights into the direction of research. To achieve this, a total of 3,984 studies related to ‘safety’ in the field of sports science in South Korea after the year 2000 were searched using research portals such as RISS, KISS, and KCI. Through data refinement, a total of 283 keywords were selected. The R version 4.0.5 program’s “tm” package and the “sna” package were using for wordcloud and network analysis. The results are as follows: Firstly, based on the wordcloud analysis of the selected keywords, words such as “safe”, “sport”, “education”, “accident”, “management”, “leisure”, and “facility” were prominent in descending order. Secondly, in the analysis of the centrality of safety-related keywords, the following keywords were ranked high: “safe”, “sport”, “education”, “management”, “facility”, “accident”, “leisure”, “body”, “security”, and “activity.” Thirdly, the analysis of keyword cluster formation revealed that the cluster “safe, culture” was linked, while the cluster “accident, prevention” formed another group. Additionally, the cluster “swim, education, body, school, water, leisure, analysis” was selected. Through these findings, it can be inferred that safety-related research trends in the field of sports science in South Korea predominantly revolve around topics related to “sports safety”, “safety education”, “safety accidents” and “safety management”. Therefore future research could expand its scope to encompass various themes aligned with megatrends such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, climate and environment, and an aging society. Furthermore, if research is conducted to improve governmental policies and regulations related to sports safety, it is anticipated that it could contribute to the advancement of a comprehensive sports safety culture and the formulation of policy measures.
