최근 우리 사회는 교육, 사회, 문화적 측면에서 융합이라는 현상을 경험하고 있다. 앞으로 미래사회에서는 융합 및 융합적 사고가 필수적 요소라는 것을 부정하는 이는 없을 것이다. 하지만, 도서지역 교육소외 계층 학생들에게는 지역적, 여러 가지 환경적 요인으로 인해 새로운 교육 시스템 및 프로그램의 적용이 늦어 도시와의 교육 격차는 점점 심화되고 있다. 특히, 융합적 사고를 키울 수 있는 프로그램에 적용 또한 많이 미흡하여 도서지역 교육소외 학생들을 대상으로 하는 융합 프로그램 개발과 적용을 통한 학생들의 융합적 사고의 성장이 필요 하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 융합적 사고를 할 수 있도록 학교 현장에 적용 가능한 프로그램을 구성하여, 실제적인 수업을 통하여 학생들의 융합적 사고의 성장과 함께 일상 생활 속에서 융합적 사고의 기초가 되는 다양한 문제 인식, 문제 해결 및 비판적 사고 능력을 기를 수 있는지를 탐색해 보았다.
Our society has recently experienced the fusion phenomenon in educational, social and cultural aspects. Integrated thinking ability would be critical for the future society. However, the regional education gap is growing, especially for students in island area who are isolated. This is a result of the insufficient application of the new education systems and programs due to local and environmental factors. Thus, the development and application of the programs are necessary to develop their integrated thinking skills. Therefore, in this study, we constructed the program for the integrated thinking skills which can be applied in the education field. Furthermore, through actual classes, we explored the possibilities of developing several abilties such as problem recognition, problem solving, and critical thinking skills which are from the foundation of the integrated thinking skills.
